CCRC Courtside Chats Vol VI

Name: Natalie.. but no one ever makes it past the first syllable

Age: 23 (over 21 I swear)

How long have you worked at CCRC? 2 years

Favorite Thing to Eat at CCRC:

I pray that they make an extra burger with fries on accident just about every day

Best Part of Working at CCRC:

The employees make the summer shifts fun even on the busiest days. I definitely missed the poolside parties this year.

Worst Part of Working at CCRC:

We only have Diet Dr. Pepper. Sorry peeps I’m upset about it too

Do you play tennis?

My high school started a tennis team during my senior year. I had racquetball experience so I kind of knew what I was doing with a racket. Made #1 on varsity, I call that being pro with no experience.

What racquet do you play with?

It’s some kind of Wilson does someone want to buy it? It definitely needs a restring

Do you or did you play any other sports?

I honestly played every sport I could fit in my (parents) schedule growing up the list is: soccer, golf, racquetball, tennis, basketball, softball. Which one was I best at? All of them, obviously I’m a natural-born athlete duh.

Are you still in school? What are you studying?

I am currently taking a course to get my real estate license. I’m excited to see where the journey takes me!

Most amount of racquets you've strung in a day?

Caitlin taught me once months ago, so... about half a racket.

Most amount of tickets you've entered after a shift:

200 on a slow day :,(

What is it like to work for a family business?

It’s so fun! It’s awesome that they love to hear our ideas and opinions on ways we can make the club just as fun for you guys! Also the Apted’s actually adopted all of us were just one big family thought you all knew

Weirdest thing that has ever happened to you working here?

Well, we can’t go a summer without some kid pooping in the pool. (parents don’t be embarrassed literally it happens every year, and it is my third summer)

Favorite Members to see walk thru the doors:

Anyone who can walk up and I already know your drink you’re awesome!

Me and the Tuesday guys have had some late winter nights. I promise you all I don’t mind at all just tell me when you need another bucket and you got it!

Stan the man Angelov has 100% convinced me that Stella is good for hydration before and after tennis. Stan, come get a Stella! Where have you been?

Tom Rensch, I don’t understand your obsession with Silver Bullets, they’re all yours! (nasty)

Tennis Pro or employee you most admire:

Cindy Cohan (so so nice) the amount of energy she has every day even after a long day of tennis lessons blows my mind. You’re amazing!!

Which would you rather win: Stanley Cup, World Series, World Cup, Rider Cup, Superbowl, NBA Championship,PGA Tour event, etc, Wimbledon, US Open, French Open, Australian Open.

Stanley Cup!!! Loved seeing the boys win it for us FINALLY had one big happy cry that day

What song would you want played when you walk out onto the court or field?

Can’t stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers but just the first 30 seconds.

*Note From Dani-

There's a new Sheriff in town and it's Nat! All kidding aside, it is really important to have a leader at CCRC who helps keep all of us in line. (Members AND staff!) I know when Nat is at the Club, she's on top of any situation that can come up. Look out though, I ordered her a shiny Sheriff badge and she's pretty excited to use it.
