LIFE TIME CREVE COEUR
Dear Creve Coeur Racquet Club Member,
We are delighted to share some important updates regarding the upcoming changes at Creve Coeur Racquet Club.
As Dan previously shared, Creve Coeur Racquet Club will end operations on January 8, 2025. With the goal of continuing to serve you with minimal disruption to your routine, Life Time will reopen the club on January 9, 2025, with the same operating hours. Our goal is to continue to serve you with
minimal impact and disruption to your experience and routine. We will also honor your existing membership dues rates and permanent court time reservations and rates through at least May 2025 as described below.
I want to emphasize our awareness that this club has been an important staple in the community, and it is our objective to uphold that wonderful legacy. In fact, Life Time has a long history of operating tennis and pickleball clubs nationwide, and adding this storied club is a perfect complement to our existing portfolio as we continue to provide you with the best experiences, programs, and services.
We aim to enhance the same great selection of amenities with a refreshed look and feel, along with best-in-class equipment throughout the property. We invite you to visit to view images and floor plans that illustrate what the club will look like following our planned multi-million-dollar phased transformation. Just a few of those improvements include:
• A complete refresh of the eight existing indoor tennis courts and five existing indoor pickleball courts, including upgraded court lighting
• The addition of two indoor pickleball courts in the indoor pickleball building through a court reconfiguration
• An upgraded lounge and the addition of a dedicated bar space in the indoor pickleball building
• The addition of a Life Time Work co-working lounge in the clubhouse building
• Expanded parking
• Luxury men’s and women’s locker rooms featuring complimentary lockers, towels and personal care amenities
• Fresh and healthy LifeCafe offerings with a new bistro to serve the upgraded pool deck area
• Expanded fitness area with new fitness and recovery equipment
The initial phase of our work will be transforming the indoor clubhouse and tennis buildings. The clubhouse building is planned to temporarily close in spring 2025 to begin renovations, with the indoor tennis building planned to temporarily close following the conclusion of the current Indoor Tennis
season in May 2025. For safety reasons, these buildings will remain closed as we perform the initial phase of our renovations, which is currently expected to extend into early fall 2025. During this phase, we plan to offer access to the existing outdoor tennis courts, indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, fitness area, and seasonal outdoor pool area. Once the initial phase is completed, we plan to temporarily close the indoor pickleball building for renovations, with a planned reopening in early 2026.
Additional information regarding specific timing and renovations, including exterior renovations, will be provided once they are finalized. We will strive to minimize disruptions as much as possible and we look forward to delivering a new, state-of-the-art experience.
What steps do you need to take to ensure access to the club beginning January 9, 2025?
• If you are a Creve Coeur Racquet Club member and currently have an active Life Time membership, there is no action needed right now. Rest assured that we will be offering to honor your permanent court time reservations and rates through at least May 2025 and know
that you will be receiving a separate communication from Life Time in the coming days with more information.
• If you are not currently an active Life Time member, you will need to transition to a special Life Time Club-Only membership by December 15, 2024, in order to maintain uninterrupted access to the club as well as your existing Indoor Season permanent court time and rate. As
part of a special offer being made exclusively to current Creve Coeur Racquet Club members, when you transition to a Life Time Club-Only membership, you will pay no joining fees and maintain your current monthly dues rate through at least May 2025.*
You may enroll as a Life Time Club-Only member by visiting a private webpage dedicated exclusively to current Creve Coeur Racquet Club members located at join.lifetime.life/366. Your enrollment will ensure you are among the first Life Time members at the club since initially we will not be selling memberships to the general public or allowing additional members at nearby Life Time clubs to utilize this location.
Please note that when enrolling online to become a Life Time Club-Only member, you will see a different rate presented throughout this special joining process as we are only able to verify your current Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership dues after you have joined Life Time. Life
Time will make the necessary adjustments to match your current rate prior to membership dues being assessed each month.
Please feel free to contact Jamie Greene at jgreene@lt.life with any questions you may have. Life Time representatives will also be on-site beginning November 4, 2024, and be available in the club after that date during specific hours.
I am confident this next chapter will only serve to build on the wonderful heritage of Creve Coeur Racquet Club as an incredible, high-end, luxury club committed to empowering healthier, happier lives for all members.
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you and look forward to having you be a part of our Life Time family.
In health,
Steve Larson | Senior Vice President – Club Operations
*Life Time membership agreements are month-to-month. Membership dues continue until the member cancels according to terms and conditions in Life Time’s membership agreements and on-line at https://www.lifetime.life/policy/guest-and-club-policy.html.
Life Time membership agreements define adults to be those 14 and above while juniors are those ages 3 months through 13 years old. A primary member may add to their membership only one additional adult who is 26 or older who lives within their household. Children of the primary or partner member who are aged 14 to 25 may also be added to their membership as an adult.
Junior-only memberships are available for tennis participants but must be transitioned in person to a Life Time Club-Only membership with a representative given the requirements of our private webpage.
The exclusive Life Time Club-Only membership offer is available only to persons that are not current Life Time members but that are current, active Creve Coeur Racquet Club Full Club, Racquet Only, Pickle and Paddle, Corporate and Junior membership types that are in good standing and paying
Creve Coeur Racquet Club’s standard applicable dues rates immediately prior to December 15, 2024. To become and remain eligible for honoring your current Creve Coeur Racquet Club monthly dues rate, your Life Time Club-Only membership must contain no more than the same number of persons
that are currently on your existing Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership. If you have a Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership that does not meet these criteria or need to make a membership change, please see a Life Time representative to discuss options available to you.
Frequently Asked Questions
May I use other Life Time clubs with the Life Time Club-Only membership?
A LifeTime Club-Only membership allows access only to Creve Coeur. A separate LifeTime membership is required if you would like to access other LifeTime locations initially.
What if I already have both an active lifetime membership and an active Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership?
To focus on serving existing Creve Coeur members at this club, we will only be allowing initial Creve Coeur access to:
• Existing Lifetime access members that retain their existing Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership through December 2024; and
• Existing Creve Coeur Racquet Club members who enroll as a Life Time Club-Only member by December 15, 2025.
Information about broader membership opportunities with access to this location will be shared at a later date.
How long will my membership dues remain unchanged? What will change after the conclusion of the Indoor Season in May 2025?
We are still finalizing the specific plans and pricing that will be in effect after the Indoor Season concludes in May 2025, including membership dues rates for all lifetime members initially able to access Creve Coeur. We will share these plans with you when they are finalized, but any changes, including the date of a change and your new monthly dues amount, will be communicated to you before it takes effect.
What if I choose not to become or remain a Life Time member?
To maintain uninterrupted access once Life Time begins operating the club, you will need to be either an:
• Existing Life Time assess member that retains their existing Creve Coeur Racquet Club membership through December 2024; or an
• Existing Creve Coeur Racquet Club member who enrolls as a Life Time Club-Only member by December 15, 2024.
We do not plan to initially sell memberships to the general public nor allow additional Life Time members to access this location. If you do not have one of these membership types, you will have to wait until memberships are sold again to the general public and a membership enrollment fee and standard membership dues will be required.
What is the Life Time membership cancellation policy?
Any Life Time membership may be terminated by providing advance written notice on a rolling 30-day basis. Written notice may be provided in person at Life Time Creve Coeur or by certified mail (with return receipt requested) to Life Time Creve Coeur.
How will I be billed for my Life Time Club-Only dues moving forward?
We will be assessing the EFT account you have on file with Life Time for your prorated January 2025 membership dues on or about January 9, 2025. January 2025 dues will be prorated for the number of days that Life Time Creve Coeur is open during the month of January, with regular monthly dues being assessed on or about the first day of each calendar month thereafter.
Will I be able to charge purchases to my account?
Yes. As a Life Time member, you may register for the Life Time Club Tab program, which allows you to charge services and product purchases at the club. With Club Tab, a member may provide a credit card, which is kept on file, and simply present their membership card to make purchases. Purchases
are billed to the credit card on file immediately as they occur. You can easily enroll in Club Tab as part of your joining process or at any time in the Life Time app.
How will I be billed for the second half of my existing Indoor Season permanent court time?
By becoming a Creve Coeur exclusive Life Time Club-Only member or by being an existing Life Time access member, you are eligible to have the existing permanent court reservations and rates that you agreed to with Creve Coeur Racquet Club honored through the remainer of the Indoor Season that ends in May 2025. Please note that if a person that is currently a part of your group paying the Indoor Season permanent court time does not have a Life Time membership type that is initially allowed to access Life Time Creve Coeur by December 15, 2024, each of the remaining persons in your group
will be equally assessed that individual’s unpaid amount.
Our plan is to assess the Club Tab account you have on file with us on or about January 9, 2025, for the second half amount you agreed to with Creve Coeur Racquet Club, which may be increased as noted above. We will provide you with any items necessary for your authorization in advance. Please
note that because of how this amount will be collected, it is critical that you register for the Life Time Club Tab program prior to January 9, 2025.
Will I still be able to reserve a court for play on a walk-up basis or for a lesson at Life Time Creve Coeur?
Yes. You will be able to reserve a court for play on a walk-up basis or for a lesson subject to availability and the payment of applicable court fees.
How do I access Life Time Creve Coeur beginning January 9, 2025?
You must download the Life Time app and present the electronic membership card at the front desk to gain entry. If you are a new Life Time member, please allow extra time for your first visit as we will need to capture a photo for our membership system.
Will Core Academy remain at this location?
Current programs will continue to be offered as usual by Core Academy through at least May 2025. Core Academy and Life Time are currently working in good faith to finalize a plan for the Core Tennis Academy to remain a key part of the services offered at this location in the future. Core Academy and
Life Time will share more information once this has been finalized.
Will persons enrolled in the tennis program at Creve Coeur need to also have a Life Time membership?
Yes. Junior-only memberships are available for tennis participants but must be transitioned in person to a Life Time Club-Only membership with a representative given the requirements of our private webpage.
I like the Creve Coeur Racquet Club staff. Will they remain?
All staff will have the opportunity to apply for open positions at Life Time locations in the St. Louis area, including Life Time Creve Coeur.
Who will be able to use the outdoor pool at Creve Coeur this summer? Will Life Time offer summer swim camps for juniors at this location?
Subject to the timing of remodel efforts and conditions, our plan is to operate the seasonal pool this summer as well as offer summer swim camp programs. The use of the outdoor pool area will be subject to Life Time’s rules on pool usage located at www.lifetime.life/faq/pools.html..
Will food, beverages and snacks be available to members in the same manner as under the Creve Coeur Racquet Club?
We plan to continue operating the restaurant space in the clubhouse on a limited basis until the clubhouse building is closed for renovations. This includes planning to offer liquor subject to applicable licensing timing and requirements. All other food, beverages and snacks will not be
available to be purchased on a ticket and must be purchased directly through the front desk. We are exploring alternative food and beverage service options during the time that the clubhouse is closed for renovations in an effort to best serve you.
